7/6 and 7/7

Acquired a Garfield Dollhouse from a local woman for free! This has been a dream of mine, to build a dollhouse like this. I've wanted to do this for like 15 years. It seems someone started it and then was like wow this sucks and did something better with their time. That was over 30 years ago. Here I am to take over.

I spent most of the day cleaning the base with a very diluted oil soap. The base is already assembled so that one less thing for me to do. But it was filthy. Two rounds of washing and drying in the hot California sun.

I took the time to wipe down the rest and assure  that the directions were in there. Joined a Facebook group about dollhouses and spent a long time looking at wallpaper and such on Etsy.
